Abstract
LAGUNES-TEJEDA, Ángel; RODRIGUEZ-MACIEL, J. Concepción and DE LOERA-BAROCIO, Juan C.. Susceptibility to insecticides in populations of mexican arthropods. Agrociencia [online]. 2009, vol.43, n.2, pp.173-196. ISSN 2521-9766.
The rational use of insecticides requires previous evaluation of the effectiveness of the chemicals to be used. This may reduce the use of non-effective products and prevent rising production costs and pollution. To facilitate bioassays in the laboratory, susceptibility values (LD50) of 64 insecticides and acaricides for 33 species of arthropods are presented. These LD50 could be used to determine susceptibility or resistance of these species in México.
Keywords : Insecticide bioassays; base lines; susceptibility levels to insecticides; resistance to insecticides.
