Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to show that several characteristics that exist in the theoretical frame work known as New Public Management (NPM), such as: orientation of customer, accountability, information’s technology, strategic planning, contracts and decentralization; these are in the strategies that apply the governments of the Republic Mexican’s states on their public administrations. Official’s documents are analyzed in detail with a methodology for to make indicators that it weigh up NPM in the actions are applied for the studied states.
