Germination bioassay has become a useful tool for study of other parameters in Plant Biochemistry research. This bioassay must be carefully optimized before its use in plant research. Some salts are inhibitors of germination and the exact amount of them must be controlled. Other factors like volume, light, imbibition time and seed size are different for each kind of seed. Optimal conditions for best germination of maize, wheat and sesame seeds were determinated.
