This term paper outlines some particular problems in the experience in preparation of reports about Latin American situations. This emphasizes the complexity of the link between the event that characterizes a situation, the structures that have been shaped in society and the political historical movement in which the forces are located and their relationships. It includes the problem of hegemony as focal point of the entire central and reference movement in the social and political junctures.
