Abstract

An analysis of cultural diversity and, in particular, to the so-called bibliodiversity, related to cultural policies of reading and its implications for different actors: national and local States, private sector (publishing houses and groups of independent publishers). Emphasis is placed on the position of these different actors, inquiring as well on the perspectives on the subject and on the intermediaries (librarians, promoters, bosses, employees, volunteers, members and associative directors) who interact with libraries in the City of Buenos Aires.
