This article analyzes the meanings that take the Jit and lack of Jit between the social and symbolic boundaries, the hierarchies, the legitimations of social inequalities based on the groups involved in "the moves" of buying and selling contraband, better known as "smuggling", in an international port in the Argentinian-Uruguayan border.
