This article discusses the process of construction of the meaning of Mexican anthropology analyzing the syllabi and the teaching of Mexican anthropology as part of anthropological theory including the contributions of the graduates in Social Anthropology at the University of Quintana Roo, Mexico. Their contributions are part of the process of forming anthropology students.
