Abstract

The following paper examines classical bibliography on power relations and political processes within the social science framework, emphasizing on social anthropology. The examination has three objectives: 1) to point out the current state of power relation and political process studies, 2) to critically analyze the paradigms of the issue under examination, and 3) to explain the coexistence, interaction, and virtues of the models currently used in anthropology, especially in Mexico.
