Abstract

ORTIGOSA, Andrés. The Union of Logic and Metaphysics in Hegel: The Problem of the Fracture Between Thinking and Being. Tópicos (México) [online]. 2024, n.68, pp.215-241.  Epub Mar 08, 2024. ISSN 0188-6649.  https://doi.org/10.21555/top.v680.2490.

Part of the current context in which Hegel is interpreted has a strong Kantian bias. Therefore, it is imperative to vindicate Hegel’s independence and originality with respect to Kant. For this purpose, in this article I explain the relevance of Hegel’s conception of metaphysics and logic. It is true that in the first period in Jena, Hegel follows Kant’s ideas; however, in the Nuremberg period the Science of Logic represents the final separation between Hegel and Kant.

Keywords : Hegel; Kant; logic; metaphysics.
