Mexican government has established a new ecological management protection program; its name is National System of Natural Protected Areas. Its goal pretend to obtain a critical revision about the objetives, management, administration and land use problems in the national parks system, in order to get an optimal management-use scheme. This article propose a new form in the land use in Montebello National Park, Chiapas. It presents a specific way to solve methodologically problem related to the optimal ecological utilization of the landscape and its resources according with FAO agency recomendations for Latin America countries.
