Abstract

CARRANZA BARONA, César  and  MENDEZ SAYAGO, Jhon Alexander. Does human development bonus improve exclusive breastfeeding in Ecuador?. Estud. soc [online]. 2015, vol.23, n.45, pp.63-81. ISSN 0188-4557.

This paper assesses the impact of the Human Development Bond in Ecuador on adopting healthy eating practices and nutrition, specifically in compliance with the international standard on exclusive breast- feeding proposed by the World Health Organization (WHO). Using econometric technique called impact assessment fuzzy regression discontinuity found that Human Development Bond has no significant impact on the adoption of this standard by their beneficiaries.
