Abstract

REYNA GARCIA, Víctor Hugo. Change and continuity in Mexican journalism: A literature review. Comun. soc [online]. 2016, n.27, pp.79-96. ISSN 0188-252X.

The following article is a literature review of the studies that address the impact of the democratic transition on Mexican journalism. This line of inquiry is among the most fertile given the debate between the authors that posit the normative change hypothesis and those that contend a pragmatic continuity. Both perspectives are analyzed and a third way is proposed.

Keywords : Change; continuity; journalism; Mexico; transition.
