Abstract

One of the biggest challenges facing interpersonal communication in public health is the growth of linguistic and cultural diversity of the populations it serves. This review seeks to make sense of and to appreciate the magnitude of the challenge that attends a population with great ethno-linguistic diversity, native or migrant, in health services, with the final objective to furnish information and to appraise the diverse legal aspects, strategies, resources, and good practices with which it is faced in Mexico, Spain, and the United States.
