Since the development of the electronic media, at the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century, the Churches in general, and the Catholic Church in particular, have shown preoccupation with their profit for pastoral activities. In this paper, our objective is to reflect on the relationship of the Catholic Church with the electronic media, trying to identify which the problems are, as well as the conception that guides the Catholic Church in the use of these media.

In our opinion, the assumption of the electronic media for evangelization rises an enormous amount of challenges to the Church.
