Abstract

DOTTORI, Ariel O.. Human communication: The origins of sociological reflection. Rev. Mex. Sociol [online]. 2019, vol.81, n.3, pp.535-559.  Epub Feb 20, 2020. ISSN 2594-0651.  https://doi.org/10.22201/iis.01882503p.2019.3.57920.

Within the sociological field, there would appear to be a degree of agreement that the “social reality” -or simply “society”- is the result of the persistent link between human beings, which is usually called “social interaction”. Without attempting to deny that sociological common sense, this text will focus on a certain element that originates early in human ontogeny -on a natural rather than a social way- and which is constituted as fundamental way in the subsequent development: the problem of communication as a central element of sociological reflection.

Keywords : language; social reality; communication; ontogenesis; social system.
