The Hybrid Conceptual Map is proposed as a representation that allows graphically describe the system of chemical-mathematical practices involved in solving problems which are covered in the chemistry class. The construction and interpretation of the Hybrid Conceptual Map is based on an extension to the school chemistry of some theoretical elements of the Ontosemiotic Approach. The interpretation of this representation allows us to see the chemical, chemical-mathematical objects, their connections, the organization of the system of practices and some cognitive processes involved in solving problems. Some suggestions are presented to implement these representations in the classroom.
