Abstract

RODRIGUEZ GAMEZ, Liz Ileana. Financiamiento de infraestructura ambiental en la frontera México-Estados Unidos: La estrategia del BDAN. Frontera norte [online]. 2007, vol.19, n.38, pp.157-190. ISSN 2594-0260.

Analyzing an environmental infrastructure project data base that goes from 1995 to the year 2005, this research offers a U. S.-Mexican border diagnostic of Nadbank. In spite of legal and structural reformations to give viability to the Nadbank, there are quantitative differences when it comes to financing projects. These differences have to do with a development gap reflection, so when Nadbank attempts financial conditions equality for both countries, it really continues supporting financing inequality in detriment of Mexican clients and infrastructure projects.

Keywords : binational cooperation; environment infrastructure; financing to the development; U. S.-Mexico border; North America Development Bank (Nadbank).
