Abstract

Even that in different services a transoperatory patological, study was tried it was Louis B Wilson who made it mandatory at the Mayo Clinic in1905. In neurosurgery the surgeron is interested in the confirmation that the tissue to remove is a tumor and what sort of tumor is in orden to follow a precise conduct. The two metods more in use are the frozen seccion and the impronta. Both metods have advantages and disadvantages, but they can clarify if the tumor is or not a glioma.
