The article presents the experience was in the state of Aguascalientes as a strategy to reduce the digital divide in its various social strata and communities of municipalities. Stages of the current situation of these public bodies in relation to their infrastructure, infor mational and educational librarians for the develop ment of the knowledge society are described. Results among which were found to have the conditions for a suitable job with the population from the existing infrastructure, however librarians in general do not have quite the skills to conduct this work are analyzed.
