Abstract

GARCIA GARCIA, Javier Rafael. Las políticas y los programas de posgrado en México: Una dinámica de contrastes entre 1988 y 2008. Sociológica (Méx.) [online]. 2009, vol.24, n.70, pp.153-174. ISSN 2007-8358.

This article explores two decades of Mexican government graduate studies policies (1988-2008). Graduate studies have expanded notably in that time, offering a wider variety of topics, an expansion accompanied by the emergence of evaluation policies whose systems and indicators tend heavily to the quantitative. Among other things, this has accentuated these policies' inequalities and processes of institutional and functional differentiation.

Keywords : state; graduate studies; programs; public policies; institutional design; policy systems.
