Abstract

RODRIGUEZ GUILLEN, Raúl  and  MORA HEREDIA, Juan. Todos en la colonia nos conocemos: la movilización de clases medias en Clavería. Sociológica (Méx.) [online]. 2005, vol.20, n.57, pp.147-170. ISSN 2007-8358.

The mobilization of local inhabitants in the Clavería neighborhood serves as an empirical reference point to look into the role that the day-to-day associative tradition plays in the origin and progress of a collective action. A neighborhood sociability created on the basis of identities, values and ideologies around which singular modes of making a society emerge and consolidate. This article delves into the issue of how these matters are perceived by the inhabitants of Clavería based on interviews with them.

Keywords : collective action; neighborhood identity; social resistance.
