Resumen

CASTILLO TRONCOSO, Alberto del. Photographer Rodrigo Moya and the 1968 Student Protest. Secuencia [online]. 2024, n.118, e2230.  Epub 02-Feb-2024. ISSN 2395-8464.  https://doi.org/10.18234/secuencia.v0i118.2230.

This text presents a hitherto unpublished interview with photographer Rodrigo Moya in 2008 about his photojournalistic coverage of some of the episodes in the 1968 student movement. This is accompanied by an introduction providing readers with the context for critically interpreting his career and valuing the importance of disseminating this type of documents for interpreting our recent history. Rodrigo Moya is one of the leading photographers of the second half of the 20th century in Mexico. His coverage of ’68 is scarcely known, and this is the first time he has reflected on these events, hence the importance of producing this type of document.
