Abstract

The aim of the paper is to define the workers’ strike in Rincón Antonio, a small Oaxacan town on the Isthmus as one of the first movements against the early 20th century labor policies in Mexico. The paper describes the strike and its environment, working conditions and workplaces, workers’ salaries and the participation of the Union of Mexican Mechanics.
