Abstract

ILG, Andreas. Una tesela en el mosaico urbano: Benjamin y los pasajes. Acta poét [online]. 2007, vol.28, n.1-2, pp.151-172. ISSN 2448-735X.

A town can be read as an open book where each paragraph resembles a district on an urban map. To follow its spaces is an analogy of crossing its ways, just as if the reader takes a walk through its roads or slips through the small spaces on a mosaic. The collection of all that could be regarded forms an allegorical image that creates history. It creates history by an unusual perspective and through a constellation that could be called out of joint. It creates history from throw-out objects rejected by the big city. With Benjamin, we will make a short visit to a figure of thought, the street, which we located in Mexico City.
