Abstract

BENSAID, Daniel. Vagando por el pavimento.: La ciudad insurgente de Blanqui y Benjamin. Acta poét [online]. 2007, vol.28, n.1-2, pp.129-149. ISSN 2448-735X.

In this article, the author wanders the streets of the modern city in the way Benjamin's flâneur does. He shows the economic relations hidden inside objects thrown away over the pavement, revising the revolutionary history of Parisian streets as asphalt has covered the ancient cobblestone that reemerge tenaciously in paramount moments -during the Second Commune and May 1968. In the essay, literature and politics meet in a journey through the streets of Paris -and other cities- from the 19th century to the present time, in the company of authors such as Renan, Breton, Péguy, Heine, Zola or Marx, that have been the audience and the actors of this story.
