Abstract

RUY SANCHEZ, Alberto. ISSN 2448-735X.

The work in prose and poetry of the exiled cuban writer, Orlando González Esteva, is analyzed through its wit. His humor and irony frecuently take the shape of a barroque figure: the nonsense. But behind that smile a strong nostalgia for Cuba is evident. The land he left as a child. His work became a ritual search for his Lost Paradise: his Island always adrift on his poetic imagination.
