Abstract

RODRIGUEZ HERNANDEZ, Blanca Araceli; VACA URIBE, Jorge Enrique  and  BARRERA RETANA, Alejandro. Microgenetic analysis of textual productions by elementary and distance high school students. Perfiles educativos [online]. 2017, vol.39, n.156, pp.37-57. ISSN 0185-2698.

This research analyzes the textual production processes of elementary and high school students in order to understand the difficulties involved in the construction of a text. The theoretical and methodological perspective orienting the paper is situated microgenesis; on this basis, a writing task is designed the communicative purpose of which is tested during production. The results show that in order to understand writing processes it is essential to analyze the conditions of production that underlie them. Tey also reveal that students do not naturally review their own texts. Revision is a practice disassociatedfrom writing; in order for it to occur, the figure of the reviewer is necessary, holding a function as an authentic reader. Analysis suggests that tasks with a situation of non-simulated communication and that are tested while being carried out help students to regulate their own writing processes.

Keywords : writing; textual production; textual review; interaction; written language.
