Abstract

SANCHEZ PONCE, Christian. Structures in initial teacher training: Proposal for a classificatory system for their analysis. Perfiles educativos [online]. 2013, vol.35, n.142, pp.128-148. ISSN 0185-2698.

The paper develops a proposal for a classification system for the analysis of study plans with regard to teacher training, aiming to serve future investigative developments typical of the sociology of knowledge in teacher training. In this regard, initially a few analytical views on teacher training which were developed in an international context are discussed; thereafter, a proposal for classificatory categories is put forward for the analysis Curricular research and investigation of teacher training in terms of the knowledge developed therein. This is exemplified by the use of categories taken from a study on a program designed for teachers of Elementary Education in the Chilean university system.
