Abstract

HERNANDEZ GONZALEZ, Joaquín. Emotional relations and the subjectification and identity formation process in high school. Perfiles educativos [online]. 2012, vol.34, n.135, pp.116-131. ISSN 0185-2698.

The students are conceived as young people and therefore what can be analyzed is the subjective sense they give to their emotional relations (Martuccelli, 2006; Weiss, 2005). The results show that Young people use to take part in the afective relations in an intensive sociality context that makes easier the encounter with the other gender. They participate in diverse kinds of emotional relations and they bestow on them a specific meaning in terms of support, afection and confidence that they establish with them. In the conclusions, the author emphasizes the knowledge of the other sex and the subjective experimentation of the afective and moral bonds (confidence, intimacy and caring about the other), which are investigated through the other and support their reflexivity about affective relations.

Keywords : Emotional relations; Subjectivity; Identity; Reflexivity; High school.
