This article focuses on these aspects in order to show representations, discourses, and legal practices about passionate homicide in Mexico city in 20th century. In addition, it demonstrates how the justice system reduced punishment for honour and passion reasons, and this way helped to keep the violence against women, and an inefficient and biased justice.
