Abstract

The article analyzes the model of the hero based on the contributions of 19th century guerilla Nicolás Romero on the basis of complex negotiations between the people and the élite. In this work the literary perspective takes precedence over popular elements (acts of banditry, bodily skills and the phrases and silences of the masses).
