Pedro Salmerón studies one of the Mexican Revolution factions with the worst reputation, due to the ambiguity of its positions and to the personality of one of its leaders, Benjamín Argumedo, as well as by his followers the colorados, squad conformed by members of the average class and free towns of the Comarca Lagunera that, inspired by the program of the Mexican Liberal Party, charged force during the rebellion of Pascual Orozco. Likewise, it presents a description of the Comarca Lagunera, through which is possible to elucidate the reasons of its fast development and why it became an important seed-bed of rebellious groups.
