Abstract

This article analyzes the social function of the emotional dimension from the theoretical frameworks of Anthropology, Sociology and Cultural History of emotions, in the context of community social conflict, in the common land ch'ol of El Carmen II, located in Calakmul, Campeche. The emotional experience articulates the sentient actor with commun cultural codes, generating a shared feeling in the happening. The emotional dimension is developed in sociocultural, economical and political specific contexts, and it is related with the ethical, moral and legal order.
