Abstract

CASTRO-MANZANO, J. Martín  and  MEDINA-DELGADILLO, Jorge. The Pons Scholasticorum. Diánoia [online]. 2020, vol.65, n.85, pp.55-72.  Epub Mar 19, 2021. ISSN 0185-2450.  https://doi.org/10.22201/iifs.18704913e.2020.85.1655.

In this contribution we offer an interpretation of the pons asinorum by using a contemporary term logic. This interpretation allows us to revitalize the concept of the pons asinorum in order to produce the -politically correct- pons scholasticorum, a terministic version of the pons asinorum that relates the inventio medii with the dictum de omni et nullo.

Keywords : syllogistic; term logic; logic diagram; inventio medii; dictum de omni et nullo.
