Abstract

YOCELEVZKY R., Ricardo A.. A Bygone World. The World of Yesteryear. Rev. mex. cienc. polít. soc [online]. 2020, vol.65, n.238, pp.231-241.  Epub Feb 05, 2021. ISSN 0185-1918.  https://doi.org/10.22201/fcpys.2448492xe.2020.238.71987.

The evocation of memoirs that highlight nostalgia for a world that was both stable and ordered, only to then question whether this is just an illusion, is a way to present the idea that, for many, despite the fall of the Berlin Wall being undoubtedly worthy of celebration, it had represented the stability of a bipolar world and its collapse has paved the way for a new period of uncertainty and instability.

Keywords : stability; change; Berlin Wall.
