This article analyses and describes the journalist’s role in society as information holder and how they manage to manipulate information and then communicate it to society. According to the text, the journalist has an enormous power on the political, economical, and social realms, as they are the ones that get the information to people’s knowledge. The article also analysed the alibis used by the journalist to communicate what he wants, rather than the real facts, and the reaction and impact this has on society’s view. It also shows how the politicians have to adapt themselves to the journalists, to the point they have to persuade.
