This presentation is part of a four-year research conducted to obtain the Ph. D. in 2004, and published later [see Goldberg, 2007]. Through the theoretical and conceptual framework of anthropology and by the ethnographic methodology, discusses some of the dimensions of health/ illness/care-assistance in a specific socio cultural group: Senegalese migrants in Barcelona, Spain.
