Abstract

SUAREZ-INIGUEZ, Enrique. Theory of democracy: An integrative proposal. Estud. polít. (Méx.) [online]. 2012, n.25, pp.11-23. ISSN 0185-1616.

Democracy "requires citizen control mechanisms over the ruler. First of all, requires justice. True democracy is the related set (not perfect) of all these features". Thus concludes the author, who offers over the text, a reflection on the elements that he thinks should be considered on the formation of a government representing the will of citizens of a nation, in this way, is through the formation of ethical, legal, social and political issues that combines the longing for justice, freedom and equality that society can achieve its objectives and its significance in history.
