Abstract

This text studies the PRD's organizational evolution with a vlslon of institutionaliza-tion different from the classical theories to apply this concept to party politics without a formal and strong structure. With this theoretical perspective, where political partie's institutionalization doesn't necessarily mean organizative development as routines acts, the text shows, by explaining the integration and functioning of the PRD's directive group, the capacity of it's informal agreements to allows relative degrees of institutionalization in a directive group original and naturally separate.
