The author sustains that in research we do not begin with hypothesis but with questions. He explains what research mean s and gives important examples of different types of research to endorse his point. Research carry out by detectives, research to find out the cause of an accident; tecnological research and scientific research, both on natural and social sciences. In none of the ilustrated cases, research begins with hypothesis.
