Abstract

This paper aims to analyze the processing of personal data by social networks. Social networks allow users to perform a level of interaction with other users, users can be found anywhere in the world. But not all aspects of social networks are positive, but when performing a legal activity, must adapt to the rules of European data protection, and the different countries in which they operate. It will be analyzed through the example of the social network Ashley Madison, if possible apply national legislation on protection of personal data, to demand a responsibility to it, by improper processing of personal data, being necessary to expose also the regime international jurisdiction applicable.
