Abstract

The article presents the panorama of social justice in Mexico and the procedures for the protection of it through the varied national and international legal systems. The topics considered are: the protection of social justice rights through jurisdictional and non-jurisdictional means within the Mexican actuality; their protection through the 1966 International Covenant on Economical, Social and Cultural Rights; their protection through the Inter-American System of Human Rights; collective actions related to legitimate interest; and the impact to the country's Economy, caused by the existence of financial crisis.
