Abstract

LOPEZ-MERCADO, C. A. et al. Láser de Brillouin con cavidad corta de fibra estabilizado pasivamente en la resonancia de bombeo por fenómeno de auto-encadenamiento por inyección óptica. Rev. mex. fis. [online]. 2014, vol.60, n.1, pp.53-58. ISSN 0035-001X.

We demonstrate a short cavity Brillouin fiber ring laser, which is passively stabilized at pump resonance frequency by using self-injection locking phenomena. Simple and efficient algorithm for the adjusting of the double resonance in short cavity Brillouin fiber laser is offered. Locked Brillouin laser exhibited stable single frequency operation at pump wavelength up to 3 minutes and Stokes radiation with linewidth less than 1.2 kHz.

Keywords : Brillouin laser; optical ring resonators; optical injection locking.
