Abstract

MCLEOD, Stephen K.. Rationalism and Modal Knowledge. Crítica (Méx., D.F.) [online]. 2009, vol.41, n.122, pp.29-42.  Epub Apr 24, 2020. ISSN 0011-1503.  https://doi.org/10.22201/iifs.18704905e.2009.938.

The article argues against attempts to combine ontological realism about modality with the rejection of modal rationalism and it suggests that modal realism requires (at least a weak form of) modal rationalism.

Keywords : modal realism; epistemology; a priori; empiricism; intuition.
