Abstract
COMPAN GARCIA, Juan Rubén. Evaluation Processes in Remote Education Conditions in a Secondary School in the State of Mexico. Rev. latinoam. estud. educ. [online]. 2023, vol.53, n.2, pp.289-314. Epub Oct 02, 2023. ISSN 2448-878X. https://doi.org/10.48102/rlee.2023.53.2.552.
The purpose of this article is to analyze the evaluation of learning in remote education conditions, based on the accompaniment and monitoring strategies and educational tools or resources used by a teacher who teaches the subject of Spanish in secondary education. It is a qualitative study that used observation as a research technique. The research warns that when students have access to reading prior to the exam and this is accompanied by annotations, it is possible to mobilize complex cognitive processes such as integrating and comparing, with some success. It was identified that the students who interacted in the synchronous and asynchronous sessions with the teacher, by turning on the camera, projecting and sharing their work in zoom and in the classroom, improved the constructions of their learning, were constant in the delivery of their activities and got good grades. The evaluation processes in remote education should not exactly replicate what is done in person, the conditions and interactions in such a scenario demand a change.
