Abstract

This article testimonially narrates the academic trajectory of an ArgenMex anthropologist who has lived in Mexico for 45 years, 40 of them in Oaxaca, carrying out ethnographic research among indigenous peoples. This autobiographical narrative has been organized chronologically by inserting a type of commented bibliography from the author related to the Latin American and Mexican contexts of anthropology.
