The present work focuses on the semantic lexical study of the verb hacer in its pronominal construction, particularly, in the analysis of its possible combinations for the expression of the change in Spanish with animated subject. In order to carry out the analysis of the different changes of state expressed with hacerse, it has been necessary to take into account the context of use and its combinations with the different adjectives and nouns which it appears with, and thus to establish the semantic criteria for classification of the change. These have allowed to be classified in subclasses, which will give us the possibility to study them by groups with similar semantic characteristics and, also, to characterize the type or types of change expressible through the construction with hacerse.
