Abstract

The objective of this work was to determine the physical and psychological factors that are affecting the health personnel who are caring for patients infected by COVID-19. A qualitative-quantitative paradigm study was carried out, bibliographic, descriptive and field type with the survey technique. 100% of the target population is included in the research, applying inductive-deductive and analytical-synthetic methods, contrasting documentary information with field information. Risk factors were evidenced, such as that 100% of the population suffered a series of physical and psychological consequences such as fatigue, anxiety, depression, sadness, anguish, sleep, poor performance, and headaches, which have affected them personally and in their immediate environment.
