NAVEJAS, José Ángel. The subversive character of Chicago’s Mexican Literature. Valenciana [online]. 2023, vol.16, n.32, pp.261-284.  Epub Dec 08, 2023. ISSN 2007-2538.  https://doi.org/10.15174/rv.v16i32.715.

Chicago Mexican literature is a working-class phenomenon that breaks away from established paradigms found in canonical Mexican literature and vindicates the figure of the immigrant. The collective work of Mexican authors in Chicago is, therefore, subversive literature.

Keywords : Mexican literature; migrant literature; Chicago; marginal; subversive literature.
