This article reviews some constants between the personality of the writer Porfirio Barba Jacob, some moments of his poetry and the tone in the contents of his journalistic work. The acrid and furious spirit serves as a common thread that allows us to account of his way of being in the world: angry and rebellious. And it reveals, in the distance, the importance of certain political judgments.
